I am Edmund Jennings, Managing Director of the The Cregg Group. This activity has framed my life over the last 25 years from a business perspective. It has allowed me to enjoy great successes and taught me how to learn from many failures. These highs and lows have provided great experience, some wisdom, a deep well of resilience. I have learned to value and know fine people and also how to accommodate people of the more difficult variety. Hopefully the journey in history outlined below gives me qualities that recommend me a business coach, a life coach or as I prefer to term it a mind coach.
The Cregg Group
The Gregg Group is a collection of independent companies who market their goods and services under the Cregg Group banner. I founded and at various times owned and managed all of these companies. The list with establishment date and business focus are as follows; Cregg Outsourcing, (est. 1993) a manufacturing sub-contract business, Cregg Property, (est. 2000) a property development company, Cregg Recruitment, (est. 2003) a recruitment and labour contract supply solution provider, Partners in Logistics, (est. 2007) specialising in the supply of customised outsourcing and logistics solutions, Cregg Resources, (est. 2011) a consumer electronic manufacturing and distribution business, Cregg Medical, (est. 2012) providing medical equipment and services to the home-care and community care sectors, Care About You, (est. 2012) providing personalized care to the disabilities and home-care sectors.
The Cregg Group has overall sales in excess of 23 million euro. They directly employ 150 people and would have 600 contractors employed that work with out client companies.
The background to the establishment of the various group companies is outlined by way of timeline identifying where synergies created the growth opportunities and throughout moved the Group businesses towards a closer relationship with the client.
The initial company Cregg Outsourcing was involved in subcontract manufacture. At a time this company employed 200 people operating a 24/7-shift cycle.
Cregg Property
In response to this companies operating space needs, Cregg Property constructed 40,000 sq. ft. of industrial accommodation to facilitate growth. Cregg Property continued in the property development business and currently manage over 600,000 sq. ft. of industrial and commercial accommodation.
Cregg Recruitment
Some of the client who availed of the Cregg sub contract manufacturing service had requirements for a contingent Labour solution to meet either growing and/or fluctuating direct Labour needs. Cregg Recruitment was established to service this need. This company currently has over 600 contractors employed servicing the needs of industrial clients from our offices in Shannon, Cork and Galway. This company has expanded it range of services to include permanent placement, payroll services, outplacement and HR solutions in general.
Cregg Resources
In 2005 a client who initially sought a warehouse from Cregg Property subsequently asked the Cregg Group for a managed warehousing solution. This resulted in the creation of Partners in Logistics. This company now specialize in offering turnkey logistics, back office administration and contract sales to North American companies wishing to establish a sales presence in the European market.
This offering lead to the establishment of Cregg Resources who in conjunction with a partnership agreement with ZAGG, complete their total manufacturing and logistic operations in Europe.
Care About You
The establishment of Care About You sees the group move to the provision of homecare services that places the Group in a business that deals very directly with the client. The goal of Care About You is to allow individuals live in their own homes by providing careers who in partnership with our clients make independent living a reality. Cregg Medical was established concurrently with Care About You to offer equipment and home modification to further facilitate home living for our life challenged clients.
Cregg Coaching
Most recently Cregg Coaching has come into being to help people achieve through changing the way they think. The involvement in business start-ups and their ongoing management allows Edmund, through Cregg Coaching, be the perfect partner to help you as you navigate the challenges of evolving your business. More importantly the accompanying life experience allows me as leader of Cregg Coaching guide you along the first step towards identifying how and where you’d like to be in the future.
